Core
Virtue for March
The
Light House is place where kids, K5 through 5th grade, can
come and have an awesome time developing a relationship
with Jesus.
During
our 1 st and 3 rd service, we offer small groups for each
age. The Small Group leaders are wonderful and are really
good at helping kids talk. During Small Groups, we ask three
simple questions:
1)
How was your week?
2)
What has God taught you this week?
3)
How can I pray for you this week.
During
the 2 nd hour (9:45) we offer the Light House, which is
a BIG production with flashy lights, fun music, and
funny sketches with some amazing characters (Mrs. Finkenoffer,
Gordo, Kit, G'Pa Henry, and Brad- just to name a few).
Through
these two programs (small groups and the Light House) we
discuss the same core virtue for the whole month.
During
the
month of March,
the core virtue is
Hope:
Believing that something good can come out of something
bad.
Every
week, the Children's Ministry Team emphasizes the core value
through small group discussions, life-related sketches,
music, video interviews, memory verse, and take home discussion
papers & devotions (Refrigerator Door & God Time
Cards).
