HIGH SCHOOL

Engage is our high school group worship service. Engage is specifically designed of practical, challenging Bible teaching; cool videos; guest speakers; and intense, passionate worship. Engage is geared for students who want to learn more and connect with Christ. Students are encouraged to come early (6:00pm), and hang out with other friends. Engage meets in the Worship Center every Wednesday Night at 6:30pm and concludes at 8:00pm.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

We know how difficult it is being a Middle School student in this fast paced society that we live in. It is so easy to go through your day and not even be noticed. Well, The Point is designed to be a place where Middle School students in the Central Florida/Clermont area can find a place to belong. The Point exists solely to unify Middle School students and point them to Jesus Christ. Our midweek service consists of dynamic group building games, challenging Bible teaching, and interactive worship; all specifically designed for Middle School students. If you are looking to grow closer to Christ and make some friends The point is the place for you. We meet every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00. Come early (6:00) and hang out.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Real Life Sunday School is designed to help our students take real life issues and apply them with the Bible. Our goal is to relate the Word of God to our students and a real life practical way. On top of the quality of learning, every other month the Sunday school class takes a morning off to fellowship with one another at McDonald's. Sunday School starts every Sunday morning at 9:45am and concludes at 10:45am.

LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups are small groups designed to help students connect with others and with God. These life groups meet every Sunday night during for study and prayer. Many groups also are starting to plan special activities together. Life groups are formed based on age and gender. Currently we have 6 life groups meeting. Life Groups meet every Sunday Night in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm and concludes at 8:00pm.

How can you help me get my son / daughter connected to the student ministry?

If you need help getting your son or daughter connected to our ministry, PLEASE allow us to help. We promise that we will do two things:

(1) We'll have one of our leaders call and/or write your student to personally invite him/her to one of our events.

(2) We'll share whatever information we can that might help you help your student get involved. Please allow us to help. Either call us or email us at dtodd@reallifechristian.net

Does the student ministry need help? If so, how can I help out?

Yes, we need help! There will be many students in our church who will need a small group leader this year. The best way for our group to grow larger is for it to grow smaller at the same time. Because of this we have small groups that have become large groups. These groups are unable to become smaller until we have enough adult volunteer leaders to do so. If you are interested in serving in one of the most exciting ministries in our church, you'd be part of a great team of men and women volunteers. We currently have over 8 adults who work with approximately 30-60 students depending on the program.

There is no stereotype of a good youth worker that you must fit:

-You don't need to be perfect.

-You don't need to be a Bible teacher.

-You don't need to be cool.

-You don't need to be young.

-You don't need to listen to rap music.

What students go to Real Life Christian Church's Youth Group?

Real Life's Youth Ministry is a mixture of students from almost every school in the Lake County area. We have students from East Ridge High School , Southlake High School , Clermont Middle School , Groveland Middle School , and home schoolers. We're sure you will probably meet someone you know from your school. If not, let us know where you are from and we will get you connected to someone from your school in our youth ministry.

How do I get involved and help on a ministry team?

When thinking about getting involved in a ministry team, here are a few things to think about: "WHY SHOULD I SERVE IN A MINISTRY?" Everyone can SERVE in a ministry. It's our belief that if you get involved and SERVE in ministry now you will develop the habit and serve forever! We want you to find the JOY of participating in a ministry. So, participate TODAY instead of sitting back and waiting until tomorrow! We believe your SERVING can make a difference in this world and in our church. CHECK IT OUT!

We want to EQUIP you to discover your gifts and talents and to express them by getting involved. We have many different ministry teams for you to check out, and we want to EQUIP you to SERVE in the ministry God has designed you for. "HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN SERVING IN A MINISTRY?" It's so easy . . . fill out a "Getting to Know You" sheet at the Wednesday Night service (Wednesday Nights @ 6:30pm) or call us at 352.394.3553 or email us at dtodd@reallifechristian.net and we will get a ministry survey to you.
